Brewery

Prerequisites: Granary Level 20, Rally Point Level 10, for Teutons only

Tasty mead is brewed in the brewery and later quaffed by the soldiers during their celebrations.

These drinks make your soldiers braver and stronger when attacking others (1% per level). Unfortunately the chiefs’ power of persuasion is decreased by 50% and catapults can only do random hits.

It can only be built in the capital but affects the whole empire.

Brewery Destruction

If the brewery is destroyed during a celebration, the celebration will continue with the following effect:

Loyalty reduction remains the same.
Attacking troops no longer have the combat bonus.
Random targeting ceases, the catapults will hit the targets selected in the rallypoint.

Once the brewery is rebuilt, even in a different village, the ongoing celebration effects return to normal.

On servers that started in 2019 or later, this building can be upgraded up to lvl 20, granting a maximum bonus of 20%. The costs and time to upgrade were also adjusted.

When is the bonus from brewery celebration calculated?

The calculation is done at the time of battle. This means the bonus is based on the level of brewery at the time of battle, not from the time when celebration was started or when the troops were sent.

What will be the % affecting troops strength by the time troops land?

Brewery level when attack is launched - lvl 5 (so, gives 5%)
Brewery level when attack is landed - lvl 10 (so, gives 10%

When the attack lands the troops will receive a 10% bonus
